Emily Burton Designs
Hi! I'm Emily Burton, a true Georgia peach with a sophisticated, yet southern accent. But don't be fooled by the accent, I'm a world traveler and happy to say I've had the honor of designing several celebrity events some to include, Coke a Cola Heiress,, Real Housewives of Atlanta's Cynthia's Bailey's Daughter's Birthday Party, and none other Celebrity Event Planner and Designer, David Tutera.
My favorite food are fish tacos and I eat, sleep, and breath all aspects of design!
I love "pushing the envelope" in the design world, and truly creating a one of a kind event for each one of our clients.
I've been Planning and Designing pretty things for as long as I can remember. In fact, If I wasn't exploring nature as a child with my bestie, I could be found deconstructing an old piece of clothing to "re-design it into something new, or better yet telling my mother visually how she could improve our home. (Lol!)
I graduated from UGA (Go Dawgs) with a degree in Interior Design where I worked as an Interior Designer for over 13 years in Atlanta. So visually, I understand the importance of a space, and what a space needs in order to "flow" from start to finish. From the moment you walk into an event, whether it be a wedding or a special event, it should tell a story of who you are!
I'm inspired by fashion, nature, traveling, and well my clients of course!
I can truly say I can't wait to meet you, my clients become my cherished friends...so for me the planning and design process runs much deeper than just a a business transaction... it's becomes a personal experience, it's becomes a personal experience, and as it should be, this is one of the most important days in your life!
Favorite thing about Savannah weddings?
My favorite thing about Savannah weddings are the endless opportunities of wedding venues, that Savannah has to offer, from industrial and modern, to historical, and even east coast views. Not only does Savannah offer a wide variety of event venues, it's venues are conveniently located in and around the city, which allows your guests to enjoy a wide varity of activities for the day or weekend! Last, and surely not least the beautiful spanish oak trees paint the pretties picture upon entering and exiting this quaint little city. Savannah always provides new views no matter how many times I work here. It truly never disappoints.
