Charming Black and White Wedding at Whitefield Chapel
Today's precious couple planned their destination Savannah wedding from Albany, Georgia. They said "I do" in charming Whitefield Chapel, took portraits under Savannah's magical oak trees and danced the night away with all their guests at Vic's on the River. We're absolutely delighted Anna Laine Photography was there to capture all the breathtaking moments!
"After meeting them for their engagement session in Albany, it was quickly evident that they are such genuinely sweet, caring people and are SO in love. During their session, we roamed the pecan farm they live on talking about their wedding plans, from Trina's cathedral veil she would whisper about when Brett wasn't listening, to the classy black dresses Trina chose for her bridal party, to the white and blush flowers she had carefully chosen with her florist. I knew it would be the epitome of a classy, Southern wedding, and it did not fall short.
Their wedding day fell on a shockingly not-too-hot summer Savannah day, thanks be to some glorious wind and cloud coverage. Whitefield Chapel filled with family from near and far to support Trina and Brett as they began their lives together, and many happy tears were in attendance.
My favorite part of the day followed the first looks, when the wind tangled Trina and Brett up in her cathedral veil, making for the most beautiful natural laughter and photographs. Another part of the day that tugged at my heart was the way the couple honored Brett's father who passed away. He was spoken about and remembered with photographs and quiet moments throughout the day, and I loved how they both prioritized his memory. We placed the couple's rings on Brett's father's bible and Brett wore his pin inside his jacket, scattering tokens of his memory throughout their most special day." Anna - Photographer
