Isle of Hope United Methodist Church Wedding

When planning a wedding, there is always the possibility of rain. But one thing we love most is seeing couples blissfully unaware of the glistening raindrops around them. Today's couple did just that. The rain never seemed to let up, yet they didn't let it stop them. Portraits at Wormsloe Plantation? Yep! Kisses on the dock? You bet! Stacey and Donald never lost sight of the true meaning of the day. Continue reading to see how Molly of The Red Fly Studio recalls the day.

"I love brides and grooms that are young at heart and are determined to have fun no matter what the situation is. From the time we started shooting getting ready photos, it had been raining, but that didn't stop Stacey and Donald from traveling over to Wormsloe Plantation and doing their first look under those lovely oak trees!

The bluff is another location that meant a lot to them, so we headed over to their friend's dock and shot their portraits near by the water. Still, the rain didn't stop them. We headed over to their ceremony location, which was held at the beautiful Isle of Hope United Methodist Church. The rain decided to stop and we took advantage of using this historic church as a backdrop for their, gorgeous bridal party and family photos.

Soon after that, Stacey and Donald said, "I do" and became man and wife. Stacey and Donald had their reception at Cohen's Retreat. Cohen's Retreat has some amazing decor, already, so all they needed was some lovely, flower arrangements from Everbloom, to top it off. The cake and cake topper was perfect, Mollie Stone did an amazing job with that delicious delight! The band, Moon Dance, kept everyone on their feet all night and, also, let Donald and his brother play on their chosen instrument, during a couple of songs too. These two left during a fun sparkler exit and headed to their honeymoon! Congrats Stacey and Donald, your Savannah wedding was amazing!" - Molly, Lead Photographer
