Preppy Savannah Engagement
Today's adorable couple met at a wine bar on the west side of Manhattan and will be saying "I do" on Skidaway Island this fall. "We have friends and family all over the country, and a lot of our relationship has been built on travel and trips taken together, so we felt a destination wedding was a better choice for us versus getting married in New York. My parents moved down to Savannah about seven years ago. Even though it is not where I grew up, it has become like home to me, and it was important to me that I could spend the day of my wedding getting ready at “home”. Tom also fell for the city from his very first trip. We both went to school in the South (in Virginia and North Carolina) and with the southern charm and hospitality that Savannah offers, we thought it was the perfect place to bring everyone together. We have a diverse group of invited guests, and Savannah should have something for each of them between its history, walkability, and vibrant art, shopping, and foodie scene." - Sarah, Bride-To-Be
